Tailings treatment technology program

Dry tailings generally use dewatering techniques such as pressure filtration, filtration and sedimentation to dewater the tailings and reduce the water content of the tailings to 20%. In recent years, the progress of the dry heap tailings concentration process is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
(1) The combination process of cyclone, concentrator, dewatering screen and pressure filtration (filtration) machine is mature. The process is currently the mainstream process for the concentration of dry heap tailings. The tailings of the concentrator are fed into the cyclone, and the grit is fed into the dewatering screen to achieve coarse dewatering; the overflow of the cyclone and the dewatering sieve are combined and concentrated. Machine, the bottom of the concentrator is fed into the filter press (or filter) to achieve fine-grained dewatering. For the dry heap of a copper tailings, a cyclone, a dewatering sieve, a concentrator and a filter press are used as a concentrated dewatering equipment, and a process of grading coarse and fine particles and separately performing concentration and dehydration is proposed;
(2) Combination process of cyclone, horizontal belt vacuum filter and filter press. The tailings are classified by a cyclone, and the high-concentration coarse-grained stage is filtered by a horizontal belt type vacuum filter. The low-concentration fine-grained stage is concentrated by a thickener and then pressure-filtered by a full-automatic vertical filter press, and the obtained filter cakes are all dried. The row is discharged and the recycling of the filtrate is achieved.
(3) Multi-stage variable cone cyclone, high-frequency fine screen, and high-efficiency thickener combined process. The process uses a new multi-stage variable cone cyclone to classify the tailings, and the coarse particles are dehydrated by a high-frequency sieve, and the fine particles and fine particles are dehydrated by a concentration-free high-concentration concentration process.
         In summary, for the dry heap tailings, the combination of thickener, cyclone, dewatering screen and pressure filtration (filtration) is a mature process commonly used in the current selection of plants, and has broad application prospects. The development and utilization of new concentration and filtration equipment will also become the main development direction in the future.
