Correct use of Roots vacuum unit

1, preparation work
1.1 Operators must familiarize themselves with the product manuals of Shanghai Feilu.
1.2 Make sure that there are no factors in the product that are caused by environmental factors due to prolonged placement of the product before use.
1.3 If abnormal noise and vibration are found during work, stop the operation.
1.4 Electrical equipment enclosure must be grounded or zeroed.
2, preparation before starting
2.1 Check whether the water level of the water pump (front stage pump) reaches 3/4 of the water tank. If it is insufficient, make up.
2.2 Check whether the water used in the water tank is clean. It is not allowed to use sewage containing sediment to avoid clogging the pipeline, increase the wear of the pump impeller, increase the load caused by the motor, and affect the service life of the water pump.
2.3 Check the oil level of the lubricating oil in the intermediate pump and the main pump. It must reach 3/4 of the oil window. Also check the color of the lubricating oil. If there is more milky white or black impurities, notify the machine to replace the lubricating oil.
2.4 Check whether the intermediate pump and the main pump circulating cooling water channel are intact, open the circulating cooling water inlet and outlet valves, and check whether the circulating cooling water inlet and outlet are normal.
2.5 Check if the buffer tank drain valve at the bottom of the intermediate pump is closed.
2.6 Check whether the vacuum pump unit circuit is intact and the instructions of the control cabinet are normal.
2.7 Check whether the starting pressure of the intermediate pump and the main pump of the electrode contact pressure gauge of the vacuum pump unit is normal (the inlet pressure of the intermediate pump is above 0.065Mpa, and the inlet pressure of the main pump is above 0.085Mpa).
2.8 After the above items have been checked and confirmed, the vacuum unit can be started.
3, operation notes
3.1 The vacuum unit has a uniform acoustic response during operation, no noise and no irregular vibration during operation.
3.2 Pay attention to the motor load and the temperature rise of each part of the pump. Under normal conditions, the maximum temperature rise of the pump shall not exceed 40 °C, and the maximum working temperature shall not exceed 80 °C.
3.3 If there is any oil leakage during work, stop working immediately, check and repair after pressure relief. It is not allowed to continue working or pressure to check after the oil leakage is discovered.
3.4 In the work, the normal circulation of circulating cooling water must be guaranteed.
4, the vacuum unit starts
4.1 Open the intermediate pump and the main pump circulating cooling water inlet and outlet valves to ensure that the circulating cooling inlet and outlet water is normal.
4.2 Close the water pump buffer tank drain valve, start the water pump, wait for the normal operation (motor and pump noise equalization), slowly open the valve on the bypass pump of the front water pump and the Roots vacuum pump intake valve.
4.3 After the system pressure reaches the allowable inlet pressure set by the intermediate pump, the intermediate pump is started. If the automatic control gear is used, the automatic control gear is directly dialed, and the starting process of the unit is automated.
4.4 If manual control is used, the main pump is started when the intermediate pump outlet pressure reaches the allowable inlet pressure of the main pump.
5, vacuum unit shutdown
5.1 Drive the control handle on the vacuum unit control cabinet into the manual gear, close the suction port valve of the Roots vacuum pump, and block it from the vacuum system.
5.2 According to the order of the main pump and the intermediate pump water pump, the pump will be stopped step by step, and the wrong shutdown procedure is strictly prohibited.
5.3 When stopping the pre-stage water pump, first open the drain pump of the water pump buffer tank, and then stop the pump to shut down.
5.4 Close the inlet and outlet valves of the circulating cooling water.
5.5 Open the buffer tank drain valve under the intermediate pump to remove oil and condensation from it.
5.6 If the use is stopped for a long time or in the cold season, after the parking, the clean water will flush the water in the pump casing, and the water drain pump will drain the water to prevent the cracking of the tank and the pump body; The vacuum pump needs to release the cooling water in the water jacket of the pump body to avoid freezing cracks.
