What are the working principles of the belt filter?
Belt filters should be familiar to everyone, and they are found in paper, printing and dyeing, pharmaceutical, mining, steel, coal, and tanning industries. However, as a professional staff, the precautions and working principles of the belt filter should be familiar. The following will help you summarize the relevant knowledge.
Belt filters can be formed into many different models due to the different arrangements and combinations of the rolls. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure, high dehydration efficiency, large processing capacity, low energy consumption, low noise, high degree of automation, continuous operation and easy maintenance, and the cost and operation cost are reduced by more than 30% compared with the plate and frame filter press, thereby becoming The preferred equipment for urban sewage treatment.
1. In the pretreatment stage, the solid content of the original slurry is generally low, and the slurry concentration or other means must be used to increase the slurry concentration to reduce the processing cost. The commonly used pretreatment method is: mixing the concentrated sludge with the high-molecular flocculant, the material is agglomerated by the flocculant, and the fine particles are aggregated and precipitated initially, which is a preparation condition for the sludge dewatering on the sludge.
2. In the gravity dewatering stage, the sludge after flocculation pretreatment is added to the filter belt. Under the action of gravity, the free water outside the floc is filtered through the filter belt to reduce the water content of the sludge.
3. In the wedge-shaped pre-pressure dewatering stage, the sludge begins to enter the wedge-shaped pressing section after gravity dewatering, and the filter belt gap is gradually reduced, and the extrusion and shearing action is applied to the sludge to dehydrate the sludge again. After this stage, the sludge fluidity is almost completely lost, thus ensuring that under normal conditions, the sludge will not be squeezed out in the press dewatering section.
4. In the stage of pressing and dewatering, the sludge is repeatedly squeezed and sheared by a carefully designed press roll system to remove a large amount of capillary water, so that the sludge moisture is gradually reduced to form a sludge filter cake, which is separated in the re-selection filter belt. At the same time, the filter cake is scraped off by the discharge scraper, and after the discharge is discharged, the filter cloth is washed to enter the next cycle.
